How it Works
Let data drive your decision-making
The best outcomes arise from access to the best available data. Here’s how our solutions make that happen.
First, look at the bottom of the graphic below, and you’ll see how social services and community-based organizations use TraxSolutions software to provide data management for their programs and services. At this level, users input a wide variety of demographic information, student data, test scores and vocational licenses into our system. The information is then grouped by the categories, or determinants you wish to track. Progress being made over time in each category will be noted accordingly.
Next, this data is fed up to the community level and shared between sites, allowing organizations to follow students and their families between sites and across various programs. This powerful data is then sorted and compared to determine what positive or negative trends are occurring at an individual or community level. Now, the impact of programming can be effectively measured in your community as indicators change over time.
And with this insight comes the ability to see the broader effects of different types of community programming and determine what is effective and what is not. The result is better allocation of available resources because you now know what works in your neighborhood and better decision-making because of the vast data now available to you.
Lastly, if desired, data from the community levels feed vertically into national indicators to gauge your progress on goals. Partners will have the capacity to automatically and seamlessly collect and share data, and your organization gains the capacity to show progress on national indicators and become a data-driven network.
Without accurate data, perception prevails.
